My D2 LOD cinematics don't seem to work...?

I'm running windows 7 64-bit, 4Gb RAM, 2128 MHz processor speed, intel HD Corei3 graphics card (p.s. I have no idea what any of that means but i figure you computer buffs may find that information relevant to the issue). When each cinematic initializes, it will play for about .2 seconds - so you get to the 5th frame or something - and then it stops there. The audio continues but the screen is stuck at the beginning. I've tried it without compatibility modes, with Windows XP compatibility modes, desktop composition turned off, etc. I've tried adjusting the screen resolution and re-running the video tests. All to no avail. I can't imagine my video card isn't sufficient because I can run other programs of much higher caliber with relative ease, and even my old Windows XP with worse hardware has run it. I've searched Blizzard and google searches for answers, also without result. Everything else runs smooth as ever. Any ideas?

This is a difficult poem..partly because there is heart here, but the format is inconsistant. I'd suggest you figure out what you're trying to say, and start over. I know that sounds harsh, but there is an inconsistancy that runs throughout the poem and it needs to be corrected. The poem starts out okay, but the ending is lost in translation. Start again and lay out your stanza in accoradance with your ears.

Law Enforcement Career Plan?

This is my current plan and I want to know if it's good or not. I am currently transferring to USF in Florida after getting my AA degree at a state college. My major is Criminology. After I get my bachelor's degree, I plan to go into the Army to pay off my student loans. I plan to become a MP and serve four years. I may or may not try to join the CID. After that, if I don't join the CID, I'll probably go to the police academy and become a police officer. Every year (or so) I'll apply to federal law enforcement agencies (which is where I want to end up) such as the DEA, FBI, ATF, USMS, and USPIS. And hopefully I get into one of those after a while and can switch over to another if I want. Is this a good plan?

I've always wondered why when a company files for banruptcy protection but plans on staying in business does the company never satisfy former shareholders by giving their often worthless shares shares in the new company. I understand loans & creditors get first dibs on anything but again if the company plans on coming out of it why not give shareholders part of the new company even if it's a small part with the bulk going to those it owed money to thus paying their debt through IPO or something like that. Just seems like a big middle finger to shareholders to just write off their ownership or loyalty yet when the company comes out of it insiders who may have been a big part of why it went bankrupt get some. Seems only fair that creditors & shareholders gets something especially over those who might have been a cause. I would either paint the walls, or get a different couch. It just seems too much of one color. But, if you like both the couch and the walls being the same color (or, that's how it looks in the picture), make sure to have some paintings, a vibrant, but not cluttered or busy rug, and I'd paint that light. I love that kind of light, but to make it stand out, give it a coat of paint that will contrast...not black, though. Maybe a light blue or green, depending on what other colors you use. Of course, silver would look nice, too.

I would give it a 5. Although you make your point, it does not flow smoothly and some of the lines are choppy. Also, poetry doesn't have to rhyme and often times your poem will come out better if you don't try. You can say the same thing very artfully, and it won't sound so forced because you are not struggling to come up with one word that fits just right . It is nice though : )

You never had ABS! It is impossible to just take off the actuator and sensors and have the brake system work properly! There are brake lines that go to the actuator and from the actuator to your brake calipers. And if it was stolen, your brake warning light would be on all the time and you wouldn't be able to stop the vehicle because the brake fluid wouldn't make it to the calipers. It would just leak onto the ground.

How should I store fabric?

I'm a bit of a sewing hobbyist and store all of my fabric in a large sealed plastic container. Is this a bad way to store fabric? If so, how should I store it? I don't want all my expensive fabric to get ruined. Also, I am quite busy so I hardly ever get a chance to do anything with that fabric, so it pretty much just sits untouched in that container for months at a time.

How long have you had these symptoms? Because of your age you're unlikely to have type 2 diabetes (although it is possible). Type 1 diabetes comes on really quickly and within a couple of weeks, so if you've had these symptoms for a while its unlikely to be type 1 diabetes. They also become quite difficult to ignore quite quickly - the thirst you feel is beyond extreme - it's like a crazy thirst that's kinda indescribable to someone who hasn't experienced it. Another marker for needing the toilet excessively is if you go several times during the night. The chances are your symptoms are related more to being a teenager - growing etc. and drinking a lot is healthy for you but does mean you need to pee more! But it wouldn't hurt to get checked out by a dr just to make sure there's nothing else going on, diabetes or otherwise. Hope that helps xxx

So I am just finishing my A.S degree and will be transferring to another school to get by bachelors in engineering, then transferring again to get my masters in architecture. Reef Tank Question?

OK! I am limited and a little old school on reef tanks. I had one about 8 years ago and dream of another one. I do remember alot but your 'numbers' don't mean anything to me - ha- sorry! I'm going with your measurments 36-12-12 that your tank is 75-100 gallon. I can't remember anything about the PH levels but pretty sure "gravity" has nothing to do with it. Heres what I DO KNOW - Your rocks should be live rock for a reef tank and you should have real coral, not artificial. As far as your fish, you should never have that many clownfish in any tank - it is not the ocean. Good you have anenome but should have a variety of 3 not the same 3. Your starfish and your sea apple may look cool and they are beautiful but they will destroy your tank. Your tank is totally overstocked and with alot of the wrong species. 2 clownfish, keep your Coral Beauty, get 1 or 3 Tangs of any type - Tangs have to stay in odd numbers - never pairs - 1 Yellow Tang is good for your tank. Keep your Mandarin, (I called mine paisley) but only 1 Mandarin no matter how big the tank. Your Mandarin will dissapear into the live rock for days, they love it. Get rid of the shrimp, they're almost as bad as the starfish and apple. You can add a little color with the less expensive Domino Damsel and the Royal Gamma, they are very hearty also. Huge mistake I made ------ don't add a lion or panther fish because of their beauty. They will eat your clownfish! Even if the clownfish is bigger than them! Wow, I almost hope this is like some type of test and I ped. If you really do need the help, I hope I helped a little and wish you the best of luck. A reef tank is constant work - I had a 75 gallon and learned that the bigger the easier with saltwater. I'm hoping to get into another real soon (I've been saying that for a year) I think 100-125 is probably a good size and may be easier to control the PH, salinity, etc. . But very expensive "hobby". Oh -also I don't know how your filter is - I had the filtering system that went down under the tank to a 20 gallon tank. Lot's of hoses and pipes and charcoal... anyway Good luck! Very Unsettling Dream, Black Eyes?

My dream started very weird, I was in a place I was very familiar with, but it didn't seem to be that place. Alot of people were there, friends, people I didn't know. We were all partying and having a good time, I don't remember drinking anything in the dream but I ended up being sort of drunk in it at one point. A friend I had known, this girl, ended up trying to kiss me, However I pulled away. Shortly after my girlfriend of a year showed up after I had texted her and called her with no answer. When she saw me though she tried to run away. As I caught up to her and stopped her, I looked at her, and her eyes were completely black. The black eyes freaked me out, and she had almost this devilish grin on her face. When I asked her what she did, she said a few hits of acid... but in real life my girlfriend does no illegal drugs. She continued to try and get away from me as I was taking care of her. We were in a tall building and everyone was leaving. As i went downstairs she didn't follow, so I waited for her at the bottom of the stairs. She was with a group of 5 to 6 girls I had never seen before that all also had blacked out eyes. Slowly one by one they all came down, expressionless, except for my girlfriend. As I rushed up the stairs to the top, one of her other friends told me no, dont go over there, to try and warn me. And I found my girlfriend in the corner, engaging with another man. When I grabbed the kid off of her, she laughed and snickered, we were smashing! with those same big blacked out eyes. Right after this I woke up in a panic and very fearful. Can anyone help explain the black eyes, I have heard it is demons trying to enter.

I took them but Nothings changed there not as bad but there still there all the time. i went onto the tramp and i had to get off within five min of being on there since my lower abdominal hurt so bad. me and my husband started looking around the internet since its still pain Fulbright and after . We think I may have gotten a y, or a septic miscarriage since the symptoms came back as what i have = infection in uterus, abdominal pain, l bleeding (at the start not anymore) l discharge, which can be thick. and i drink lots of coffee whichelikelyly, but when i went to the doctor a month and a bit ago the pregnancy result came back negative. and I've had a normal period since than... I don't think my doc knows what shes talking about!!!!

Okay, there was a commercial a couple years ago (circa de 2005) for a cell phone. There are two guys sitting in cubicles at work and one of them has this allegedly amazing cell phone. Next year there will be better quality QB's starting with Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, etc. The best thing they can do is go with a stud OLineman or trade up and even 2 spots and pick up an additional 2nd. Order of protection denied in Florida!! Help!?

wtf?!! I had doented police records of harrasing, not leaving my house, he is an alcoholic and drug abuser with a prior stalking and domestic violence order against him. we dated a year. i filed and temp was approved. in court he had atty, i did not but I had a voice mail from him threatening to make my life a living hell, swearing and saying he would within the bounds of the law of course not harm me physically, but he would make me beg him to stop, wish I was dead and pick off my friends and family one by one - I played this in court.... his atty basically said the last known violence was more than 6 months ago, that his vm was non threatening and he only was contacting me to see my kids which he bonded with. The judge denied my petition. basically did not even look at my evidence - I felt helpless. I even asked her what is a woman to do to protect herself? Its like the judge protected him.. but she did tell him 'this relationship is over, so you really do not have any reason to contact her or write about her (oh he also blogs about me and defames me because I will not return his calls or emails).. this has been going on over 7 months!! Why would I be denied... it was clear this guy is imbalanced! Can I do anything about it now? also, after court, he blogged about me again and today he tried calling me - but no message this time and from another number. I do not want to be a statistic, I am a mother of young kids! My ex husband wants to beat thisn guy up - but of course hed be arrested right? I am so frustrated and feel so betrayed by a legal system that should be protecting me. I did everything right and defended myself, proved my case (well, not to the judge apparently)... if I fight back, I am in trouble, right? But he basically just got permission to do whatever he wants with no legal recourse on my part and he KNOWS this. I am terrified he is going to do something now because he left court all y and has had no consequence for his ongoing harrasment... any advice?

we've had a water softener from ecowater for half a year and it makes our clothes smell weird if we dont dry them immediately after theyre washed. I know that if you dont dry clothes they get a mildew smell but as soon as i open the washer i smell a metallic gross smell. i just got a new washer so i know it wasnt my old one. Okay, so my brother is getting married in 2 weeks! It was just umed that I would be a bridesmaid, they never formally asked me. the wedding party is his fiance's sister and his bestman. then me and my husband. My cat, who is about eight years old, has lost a lot of weight and has licked most of the fur off of her arms, legs and backside. oh laura, i wish you had asked this before sending resumes. you should ALWAYS use a cover letter. so, your email would be the cover letter, which would end with a line that says something about your resume being attached. tsk, tsk. to really set yourself apart and impress an employer, always use a cover letter. i've never applied for a job and not gotten a call back. i've never been called back and not offered the job. the cover letter makes all the difference. oh, and after an interview, drop a thank you card in the mail thanking the person for their time. the note will arrive a day or two after your interview, so if they have seen a ton of other people in the meantime, this will set you apart and put you back in the minds.

My stepsons bought their father the deluxe edition core set and a booster set for christmas. In the deluxe set he got monsters and horde and then he got alliance in the booster set. There isn't any alliance ubases or dice in the deluxe set. Can we buy them separate? Also, is there an online site where you can see a game being played? How can I practice different expressions for my characters, instead of having them roll their eyes and scowl?

Usually, you should only have them do something every few paragraphs. It's very distracting to do it each time. The reader can usually tell who's talking if you do it every other time. Especially if each character has a unique "voice". For example, in my story, one of my characters says the word, "like" every few words. It drives the other characters crazy, but I usually don't need to explain who is talking. Another one of my characters uses big words they don't understand. Another one stutters.

I don't think you scared him off. He had to go back to work. Let him absorb what you have proposed, give it a few days. If he still agrees, have a "meeting" with the three of you to lay the rules down as to what is/isn't expected. Just discussing it together may get the three of you rolling around before you know it.

I had been with my boyfriend for almost a year, he treated me like a princess, we went through a lot together in the short time, he supported me through so much and i would have died without him, he was my rock. Towards the end physical attraction was more than lacking and we hardly ever had but we spent all our time together. He recently broke up with me pretty much out of the blue as we didn't really argue and he hadnt really said anything about seriously breaking up. He said it was because i didnt respect him. Why does my chest hurt?

Just wait it out, it will go away. Getting hit in the chest can cause quite a disturbance. The chest wall is very vascular and has ALOT of nerves. Any exercise is going to aggravate so go easy for a couple of days. Hold a pillow to your chest and squeeze it when you sneeze or cough to splint the pain, helps a little. Take it easy and if it gets worse, go see the doc to make sure nothing got too messed up. Soccer is so rough, my daughter plays and it scares the crud out of me, I can only imagine how much harder those come flying at you when a guy kicks it.....makes my chest hurt thinking about it. Hey, just FYI....hydrate well the day before practice or a game.

Problems with housebroken dog?

Decorating with a brown couch?

We're getting a brown microfiber couch, it's called espresso. With my current decor, I have all black accents - black shelf, black oriental rug, black frames, etc. Is black and brown too dark? We're trying to decide on a paints color. Picture brown couchs and ottoman, with black shelves and frames and rug, and dark brown wood end table and tv stand. First of all is that ok? Implementing Mandatory Health Education and Workout in schools?

I'm doing a speech on obesity in children. We have to come up with a solution to solve a problem in america to change the status quo. I believe that if we implement a mandatory health care cl that involves a 30 minute workout in schools that was given to children in grades K-12 and was mandatory to recieve federal funding that it would help the problem in obestity. We all know that parents play a big part in obesity of their children but mostly because of them being uneducated healthy health care practices. If we do this it will educate the children and get them in the habit of working out and when the children have their children they will be less likely to be obese because their parents will be educated....do you think this is a good idea for my speech?
