Engineering to Architecture. best way?

So I am just finishing my A.S degree and will be transferring to another school to get by bachelors in engineering, then transferring again to get my masters in architecture. Ideally I would like to take architectural engineering, but the school I'm going to doesn't have that. I'm trying to stay in the same town as my husband so we don't have to be apart. As far as engineering degrees go, which one would be best, I was thinking probably civil because its kind of general. My other options are; technology/design or technology/construction. Which of those do you think would be best for transferring into an architecture program. (I'm not sure which school that will be)
