What is the proper/legal way to store/handle a CO2 tank in the home?

Regardless of what the law says. The tank is under high pressure . If it falls over and the valve breaks off the tank will launch itself. Property damage or death could occur. Just secure it firmly to the wall. A chain would work best. If it is a plaster wall, make sure it's mounted to a stud.
