Any other Mets fans glad that we're used to this sort of thing by now?

I was at Shea yesterday for what turned out, of course, to be the last time. I think if I hadn't been through 30+ years of rooting for this team, I would have been a lot more upset. But after everything they've put me through, I kind of expected to be let down yet again. It is almost comforting to have your heart broken so often that you're used to the pain. Anyone else feel the same?
