Camcorder problems! Please please help urgently?

Hey so I've got an hitachi camcorder which ive used to record an interview of me which i need to send to an e-mail by friday. However ive taken many shots at it so there is lots of recordings but ive chosen the one i most prefer to send, however when i tried to chose that particular one it just simply played it back and then went onto the next clip how can i seperate them out. Please help urgently x
