Does the Lions drafting Matthew Stafford remind you of Alex Smith and Joey Harrington when they were drafted?
Lions need to build for a QB to insert in a year or two. They need to concentrate on O-line help. If they plan to start Culpepper this year it absolutely makes no sense to rush for a QB. Even you decide to start him, with no Oline protection look for a long season. This might just discourage his play and bring him down to a bust potential. Next year there will be better quality QB's starting with Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, etc. The best thing they can do is go with a stud OLineman or trade up and even 2 spots and pick up an additional 2nd. Draft defesne and Oline. I'm not a Lions fan but I feel bad for the franchise.
