Between the above mentioned "news" stations and YouTube, we have more information than we could ever interpret with any precision. Yet, we are more uninformed than we ever were. Any idiot with a computer can start a blog site and give out his/her interpretation of the "facts." We're (informationally) going to hell in a handbasket...
