Backseat seatbelts in Texas?

I live in Texas and yes you do have to as long as your car comes equipped with them. This does not mean you can go rip them out but it pertains to older models that did not come originally equipped with them. Also, if you are under 15 you would not be ticketed because the ticket would then go to the operator of said vehicle for allowing them to not wear a seatbelt.
