What works great for mosquitos?

I was cutting the gr today and I was drilled by the mosquitos. I need suggestions from others on what to use to fend off these pesky critters. I don't want to use any repellant that makes my skin feel hot. We have had weeks of rain and it is 105 degrees heat index and high humidity.
